NZPF opening address

We don't choose teaching, teaching chooses us. Always add value to learning .
Importance of loyalty to community. We are free spirited thinkers and problem solvers .

In out lifetime - from institutions to families
Anti orphanages 
The helpers are  no longer reflecting  on our own history . 
Closed in NZ by 1980s
Devped world supports use of orphanages .
8 million Children orphanages around the world 
Chin in institutions have harmed brains .
Why do orphanages still proliferate? Lack of responses  for needy chn. Economic factors come before needs of chn.economic interests of adults come before needs of children.
Communist state before family.
Chn could not remain in an institution to prop up the community economically !!
 Misguided volunteering model .. Studies show children are not orphans .
Entrepreurial business model .. Not established with best interests of children at heart.chn unnecessarily separated from families. Profit makers .child finders go into poor communities  and buy babies. 
 Deliberately starved to create photos. 
Institutions for child trafficking ...  
An orphanage set up by child abusers !!! 
How can we change this ? 
Research in developing countries to raise awareness . 
Redirect funds and use global funding . Law enforcement .
Transformation of social services.
